+ HOW DOES IT WORK?
Dermaforce is an advanced method of skin rejuvenation that stimulates the body’s natural healing response. Radio frequency energy is delivered precisely through insulated needles to the dermis heating the collagen fibres to 55ºC–65ºC. As we age our collagen fibres become brittle and start to break, its tri-helix structure untangles (think of a rope that starts to come apart from itself), this means that signs of ageing appear. The temperature causes trauma to these existing mature, dehydrated, damaged collagen cells causing them to become damaged. The body’s natural healing process is stimulated, which results in increased fibroblast action, fibroblasts are the tissue cells that produce collagen and elastin. This results in the production of collagen and elastin in the area giving the skin a tightened appearance (think of this as a brand new rope). At the same time, Microneedling creates trauma through the 5 layers of the dermis, which encourages cell reorganisation leading to the improvement of open pores, dullness, uneven skin tone & pigmentation.
